Q: How does the TruTravel Services plan work?
A: With each purchase of a TruTravel Insurance Protection Plan, you, your legal spouse and dependent children (21 years of age and under) living with you will automatically receive these Services for a period of twelve months from your TruTravel Insurance effective date of coverage. Note that Services end the later of: the scheduled return date of your trip; or 365 days from your effective date.
Q: What do these Services do?
A: As a valued insured under a TruTravel Insurance Protection Plan, you, your spouse and dependent children living with you will receive these valuable Services which will be available before, during and after your trip. Some of the highlighted features these Service include are:
- ID Theft Resolution (information to help you start the steps in restoring your credit);
- Assistance Services (such as finding a doctor when away from home, coordinating transport to your home in the event you are ill or injured);
- Roadside Assistance (including assistance with a flat tire and replacement);
- TruTravel Wellness (education tools to promoting personal health and fitness)
Q: What happens if I purchase more than one TruTravel Insurance Protection Plan within a twelve-month period?
A: Each time you purchase a plan your duration for receiving these Services will start again for twelve months from your most recent purchase. Your most recent Order ID numbers (as shown on the Confirmation of Coverage) will be the numbers you use to identify yourself.
Q: Can my immediate family members use these Services?
A: Your legal spouse and dependent children (21 years of age and under) living with you are eligible to receive these Services. The TruTravel Insurance Protection Plan provides these valuable Services so that your family enjoys the benefits that are provided, essentially, enhancing your whole family's lifestyle and wellness.
Q: Are there any insurance benefits included in these Services?
A: No. All expenses incurred in utilizing these Services are your responsibility. Note: The Roadside Assist Service does include a $50 expense benefit for various emergencies.
Q: Do I have to enroll in any of these Services to use them?
A: The only program you must provide any type of information to gain access to the Services is the TruTravel Wellness Service. See your Certificate of Insurance for details on enrollment procedures.
Q: Can I buy or receive these Services without purchasing a TruTravel Insurance Protection Plan?
A: No. These Services are incorporated as part of the overall TruTravel Insurance Protection Plans.
